Capturing people's stories is important.
Whether I'm covering breaking news, on a travel assignment or writing a social justice piece, I'm diving in deep and finding the untold story.
I believe great storytelling happens in all formats. It's knowing how to ask the right questions to get the most in-depth answers and giving context that really matters. It's about doing data-driven research and building trust while having a conversation. It also means de-mystifying complicated topics to make them conversational and understandable.
I'm a generalist, a Swiss Army knife who has the curiosity and reporting skills to quickly become an expert in any industry. I'm known for my thorough research and ability to get anyone to talk to me about anything from C-suite executives and celebrities to families who are mourning the loss of a loved one.
My work has appeared in 40+ outlets including The Washington Post, The New York Times, TIME, USA Today, Reuters, Fortune.com, AFAR, Chicago magazine, The Atlantic, U.S. News & World Report, Chicago Tribune, Travel + Leisure, American Way, Chicago Architect, Plate magazine, Time Out Chicago and so much more.
Please see below for a list of media outlets I've been published in.
